The Tasks page helps you manage scheduled activities and follow-ups. Never miss an important call or meeting with centralized task management.

Key Features

Task Types

Tasks can be associated with different activity types:

  • Call: Scheduled phone call with a lead
  • Email: Follow-up email to send
  • Meeting: In-person or virtual meeting
  • Demo: Product demonstration
  • Follow-up: General follow-up action
  • Other: Custom task types

Creating Tasks

From Lead Details

  1. Open a lead's profile
  2. Click "Schedule Follow-up" or "Log Activity"
  3. Select activity type
  4. Set date and time
  5. Add notes (optional)

Quick Schedule

  • Use the quick schedule option when logging activities
  • Set a reminder for follow-up immediately after each interaction

TipSchedule your next follow-up immediately after every interaction, while the conversation is still fresh. This ensures no lead falls through the cracks and maintains momentum in your sales process.

Managing Tasks

Task List View

  • See all upcoming and overdue tasks
  • Filter by date range, type, or lead
  • Sort by due date or priority

Calendar View

  • Visual calendar showing all scheduled tasks
  • Click on dates to see tasks for that day
  • Drag tasks to reschedule (where supported)

Task Actions

  • Complete: Mark task as done and log the activity
  • Reschedule: Change the date/time of a task
  • View Lead: Go to the associated lead's profile
  • Delete: Remove a task (with confirmation)

Task Notifications

WarningOverdue tasks are highlighted in red and show a badge count in the sidebar. These are visible to managers, so make it a habit to address or reschedule overdue tasks daily to keep your pipeline healthy.

Overdue Tasks

  • Tasks past their due date are highlighted in red
  • Badge shows count of overdue tasks in sidebar
  • Review and update overdue tasks daily

Upcoming Tasks

  • Tasks due within 7 days shown with amber badge
  • Plan your week by reviewing upcoming tasks

Best Practices

  1. Schedule immediately: Set follow-up right after each call
  2. Be specific: Add notes about what to discuss
  3. Review daily: Start each day by reviewing today's tasks
  4. Don't over-schedule: Leave buffer time between tasks
  5. Update promptly: Complete or reschedule tasks as needed
