Referral Links

Generate and track staff referral links with UTM parameters.

Overview

Referral links allow you to track clients who register through your unique link. When someone signs up using your referral link, they're automatically associated with you as their sales representative.

For Sales Staff

  1. Go to Settings > Staff (admin can access)
  2. Find your profile
  3. Click "Generate Referral Code" if not already generated
  4. Copy your unique referral link

  1. Share your link - Send to potential clients via email, social media, etc.
  2. Client clicks link - They're taken to the registration page
  3. Client registers - Your referral code is automatically applied
  4. Client appears in your list - You can see them in "My Clients"

Add your referral link to your email signature for passive lead generation.

Social Media

Share on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter with compelling content.

Direct Messages

Send directly to prospects you're nurturing.

Landing Pages

Use on personal landing pages or profiles.

Business Cards

Include as a QR code on physical cards.

Tracking Your Referrals

My Clients Page

Go to Clients page to see all clients who registered via your link:

  • Registration date
  • Email verification status
  • KYC status
  • Deposit status
  • Last activity

Dashboard Stats

Your dashboard shows:

  • Total referrals this month
  • Conversion rate
  • Active clients

UTM Parameters

Enhance tracking by adding UTM parameters:

https://yourplatform.com/register?ref=YOUR_CODE&utm_source=linkedin&utm_campaign=q1_promo

Available UTM Parameters:

  • utm_source - Where the link was shared (linkedin, facebook, email)
  • utm_medium - Marketing medium (social, email, banner)
  • utm_campaign - Campaign name (q1_promo, summer_sale)
  • utm_content - Specific content variation

Best Practices

  1. Always use your link - Never share the generic registration URL
  2. Track sources - Use UTM parameters to know what's working
  3. Follow up quickly - Reach out to new referrals promptly
  4. Keep it professional - Don't spam your referral link
  5. Monitor performance - Check which channels convert best

Common Issues

Client Not Appearing

If a client registered but doesn't appear in your list:

  • They may have used the wrong link
  • They might have cleared cookies before registering
  • Contact support with their email to investigate

If your referral link isn't working:

  • Check the URL is complete and correct
  • Ensure your referral code is active
  • Contact admin if issues persist

Referral Code Management

Regenerating Your Code

If your code is compromised:

  1. Contact your administrator
  2. They can generate a new code
  3. Update all your shared links

Code Expiration

Referral codes typically don't expire, but check with your admin for specific policies.
