Applications

Review, approve, or reject partner applications with custom questionnaires.

Overview

Partner Applications is where users submit requests to become Introducing Brokers (IBs). You can review their applications, view their questionnaire responses, and either approve or reject them.

Application Statuses

StatusDescription
Pending ReviewApplications awaiting admin review and decision
ApprovedAccepted partners who are now active IBs
RejectedDeclined applications with rejection reasons

Reviewing Applications

Step 1: Navigate to Applications

Go to Partner Area > Applications. You'll see the applications dashboard with statistics and a filterable list.

Step 2: Filter by Status

Use the status tabs to filter applications: All, Pending, Approved, Rejected

Step 3: View Application Details

Click "View Details" from the actions menu to see the full application including:

  • User profile information
  • Questionnaire responses
  • Application date and status

Step 4: Approve or Reject

To Approve:

  1. Click "Approve" from the menu
  2. Select the IB Level to assign
  3. Add optional admin notes
  4. Click "Approve Application"

To Reject:

  1. Click "Reject" from the menu
  2. Enter the rejection reason
  3. Click "Reject Application"
  4. User will be notified (if enabled)

Application Settings

Configure how partner applications work in Applications > Settings:

💡
TipUse Auto-Approval for basic tier applications to reduce admin workload. Partners start at the default level and can be manually upgraded later based on performance.

Approval Mode

  • Manual Approval - Admin reviews and approves each application individually
  • Auto-Approval - Applications are automatically approved upon submission

Default IB Level

The IB level automatically assigned to new approved partners. Can be overridden during manual approval.

Terms & Conditions

Configure whether applicants must accept partner terms before submitting. Add custom terms content in the settings.

Questionnaire Fields

Customize the application form in Applications > Questionnaire Fields:

Available Field Types

  • Text Input (short answers)
  • Textarea (long answers)
  • Select/Dropdown (single choice)
  • Checkbox (multiple choices)
  • Radio (single choice)

Field Options

  • Mark as required or optional
  • Set custom placeholder text
  • Add help text for applicants
  • Reorder fields via drag & drop
  • Enable or disable fields

Example Questions

  • How did you hear about our partner program?
  • What is your experience with financial trading?
  • How many potential clients do you expect to refer monthly?
  • What marketing channels will you use?

Email Notifications

Configure email notifications in Settings > Notifications:

Admin Notifications

  • New application submitted
  • Daily pending applications summary

Applicant Notifications

  • Application received confirmation
  • Application approved notification
  • Application rejected with reason

Best Practices

  1. Review applications promptly to maintain applicant engagement
  2. Use questionnaire fields to gather information relevant to your vetting process
  3. Provide clear rejection reasons to help applicants understand and potentially reapply
  4. Consider using auto-approval for simpler partner programs, then manually adjust levels as needed
  5. Enable admin email notifications to stay informed of new applications
