Branding

Customize logos, favicons, and theme mode for your CRM branding.

Overview

The Branding page allows you to customize the visual identity of your CRM. Upload your company logos, set a favicon, and choose a default theme mode. These settings affect how your platform appears to both staff and clients across all areas of the application.

Location

Navigate to: Organization > Settings > Branding

💡
TipUse PNG or SVG files with transparent backgrounds for your logos. Transparent backgrounds ensure your logo blends seamlessly with both light and dark themes, and avoids unsightly white or colored boxes around your branding.

Brand Assets

  • Displayed when the platform is in light mode
  • Use a dark-colored logo for best visibility against light backgrounds
  • Recommended format: PNG or SVG with transparent background
  • Recommended width: At least 200px for sharp display
  • Displayed when the platform is in dark mode
  • Use a light-colored or white logo for visibility against dark backgrounds
  • Same format and size recommendations as light logo
  • If not uploaded, the light logo will be used (may not be visible)

Favicon

  • Small icon displayed in browser tabs and bookmarks
  • Recommended dimensions: 32x32 or 64x64 pixels

Best Practices

Logo Design

  1. Use Transparent Backgrounds: PNG or SVG with transparency works best
  2. Horizontal Format: Logos work best in horizontal/landscape orientation
  3. Simple Design: Complex logos may not be legible at smaller sizes
  4. Test Both Modes: Verify logos look good in both light and dark themes

File Optimization

  1. Keep File Size Small: Under 500KB for fast loading
  2. Use Vector When Possible: SVG files scale perfectly at any size
  3. Optimize Images: Compress PNG/JPG files without losing quality

Theme Considerations

  1. Provide Both Logos: Always upload both light and dark mode logos
  2. Test Visibility: Ensure logos are visible against their backgrounds
  3. Consider Users: System mode respects user preferences

Common Questions

If you only have a logo designed for light mode, users in dark mode may have difficulty seeing it. Consider creating an inverted or white version for dark mode.

Will changing the logo affect existing materials?

Logo changes take effect immediately across the platform. Cached pages may need a refresh. Previously sent emails or generated PDFs retain the old logo.

What's the ideal logo size?

For best results, upload logos that are at least 200px wide. The system will resize as needed, but larger source files produce sharper results.

Can I use animated logos?

Static images are recommended. Animated GIFs may work for logos but can be distracting and increase page load times.

How do I reset to default branding?

Remove all uploaded logos and save. The system will use default placeholder or text-based branding.
